Showcasing Tennessee's Best Artists!
Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC) Gallery features solo and group exhibitions from artists across all regions of the state. The gallery hosts rotating exhibitions on display for 6-8 weeks and is committed to showcasing the finest public art Tennessee has to offer.

Aiming to highlight the artistic talents of the state of Tennessee, the gallery's exhibitions are curated by the Director for Visual Arts, Craft and Media at the TAC. The TAC Gallery is open to the general public and entry is free. 

A Walk in the Park of Art
Located in the suburb of Georgetown in Memphis, this Art Promenade features sculpture art by artists from across the Mid-East. Spread out on the grounds of Georgetown municipal campus, the Art Promenade has works by some famous names, and some of which are even available for sale. 

The city council hopes to foster local artists and promote the arts. The exhibitions are curated by John Weeden and the Art Promenade is open to the general public. Come visit this TN public art location today!

Enhancing the Landscape of Chattanooga Through Art

Located within Tennessee's Chattanooga Parks and Recreation Department building, the public art on display is a testament to the notion 'art can enrich a community'. Public Art Chattanooga is dedicated to introducing a variety of high quality art projects into the community, and encouraging local artists by funding and showcasing their works.

At present, Public Art Chattanooga manages a collection of over 100 permanent and 42 temporary works of art that can be seen throughout the city. Many of the art works can be seen in and around Chattanooga City Hall.

A Mission to Promote Nashville's Art 
The Metropolitan Nashville Arts Commission (MNAC) was set up with the aim of promoting Nashville's art scene, and the Metro Arts Gallery is one such endeavor. Located on the fourth floor of the Metro Office Building in the Richard Fulton Complex, the Metro Arts Gallery is a highly secure, light-filled corridor within the public area of MNAC's offices. 

The gallery includes 100 feet of wall space filled with paintings by renowned artists and also features several pedestals for displaying sculpture art. The Metro Arts Gallery is open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and entry is free for the general public. Make sure you visit this public art location in Tennessee. 

Student Art and A Lot More!
Located inside the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, the Ewing Gallery of Art & Architecture is famous for its Annual Student Art Competition, one of the oldest student competitions in the country. Founded in 1947 and named after its founder, C. Kermit Ewing, the gallery has in possession an impressive permanent collection and exhibitions available for touring.

Not only does the Ewing Gallery showcase paintings by its own students, but they also house an array of outdoor sculptures on campus. The Ewing Gallery of Art & Architecture is open every day of the week except for Saturdays. Timings vary by day and information on upcoming exhibitions can be found on the official website.
