Student Art and A Lot More! Located inside the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, the Ewing Gallery of Art & Architecture is famous for its Annual Student Art Competition, one of the oldest student competitions in the country. Founded in 1947 and named after its founder, C. Kermit Ewing, the gallery has in possession an impressive permanent collection and exhibitions available for touring.
Not only does the Ewing Gallery showcase paintings by its own students, but they also house an array of outdoor sculptures on campus.
